A look back at Ricky Duran’s Voice performances

0

Ricky Duran dedicated his blind audition performance of “River” to his late parents. His dad committed suicide; he lost his mother to breast cancer.

One of Ricky’s first singles — “Tattoo Tears” (2017) — was written about a friend who committed suicide. Ricky was supposed to be the best man at his wedding.

But Ricky has persevered by pouring his emotions into his music. And that’s led to success on The Voice.

The 29-year-old Austin, Texas, resident — from Worchester, Mass. — turned four chairs with that blind audition and opted to join Team Blake Shelton.

Now he’s Team Blake’s soul representative in the Season 17 Voice finals, continuing a string of 12 straight seasons in which his coach has placed a singer in those finals.

Ricky will compete for the Season 17 Voice title Monday night. Here’s a look back at all of his Voice performances.
