A look back at Rose Short’s Voice performances

We’ve heard a lot on The Voice about Rose Short being a former corrections officer at a male maximum security prison.

But she left that job of eight years back in 2016 to focus on music.

And prior to auditioning for The Voice, she was performing full time in the central Texas area.

It showed during her blind audition. Rose, 34 at the time, turned two chairs with a fine cover of John Legend’s Preach.

And it’s certainly showed since. Thanks to last week’s instant save, Rose will be competing for the Season 17 Voice title Monday night.
