Recent post-Voice releases include an EP from Genesis Diaz and singles from Cáthia and Diego Val, a trio of Latin artists who have appeared on the show.
Here’s a bit more about each of those releases. The links take you to the music on Apple Music.
Genesis Diaz from Season 14 dropped a four-song EP called “Rompa Corazones” on Friday. That’s Heartbreaker in English, and Genesis dabbles with lyrics in both languages on the rousing lead track “Rumba Perreo y Vacilon.” The title track is sure to get your feet moving too. After earning a spot on Season 14, Genesis auditioned for La Voz, the Spanish-language version of the show in 2019, and made it to the semifinals.
Cáthia from Season 4 has a new song out called “Casas de Papel” (“Paper Houses” in English) and you can check out the accompanying music video below. Cáthia wrote the song with Adrián Cabrera and Omar Rojas. It’s the fourth Latin single of the year from Cáthia, following “Bye Bye,” “Tomalo Ex” and “Brindo Pa Mi.”
Diego Val from Season 3 has released “Addictive,” the third song from an upcoming project “Sexo Eterno (Eternal Sex).” The lyrics are in both English and Spanish. Diego told American Journal the project will include six songs, each relating to a different colored flower. “Addictive” is the black rose of the collection. Already out are “Solo Tu” (“Only You”), the red rose, and “Como Lo Hiciste?,” the blue flower.
