New post-Voice music out includes singles from Jonathan Hutcherson, Ashland Craft and Courtnie Ramirez.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music.

* Jonathan Hutcherson from Season 10 released the upbeat and fun “Kentucky Blues” recently. It’s the second song off his upcoming EP and one he wrote during a Zoom session with Mark Trussell and Heather Morgan back in 2020. On Instagram, Jonathan says the song sorta came out of nowhere, just a snippet he’d been singing to himself the night before the session. But now “Kentucky Blues” “is just like my anthem,” he says. “I’m a Kentucky dude. It’s where I’m from.” And it follows “Young” among releases from that aforementioned EP.

* Ashland Craft, from Season 13, has released the third song from her upcoming album. It’s called “That Kind a Place,” about the kind of place she grew up. Writes Ashland: “I remember being 18 and ready to take off to see everything the world has to offer. But I never knew how much I’d miss home after I actually left. We always made the best of any situation growing up, and I believe my small town made the girl you see today.” We’ll hear lots more from Ashland on Sept. 3 when her album, “The Travelin’ Kind,” lands. It’s available for pre-order now.

* Courtnie Ramirez from Season 11 recently released a catchy, upbeat Christian single called “Life is Good.” It comes with an assist from Apollo LTD, a Nashville-based, Dove-Award nominated alternative music duo. Courtnie’s been busy in 2021. She released a “Blackbird Sessions” EP at the start of the year and “Life is Good” marks her third single since.
