Lauren Alaina has teamed up with Chris Young for a new country duet.

Lauren Alaina hit number one on the country charts with her “What Ifs” duet with Kane Brown.

Chris Young hit number one on the country charts with his “Think of You” duet with Cassadee Pope.

Now Lauren and Chris have teamed up for a duet of their own, “This Town Ain’t Big Enough,” a song they first performed together during the recent CMA Fest.

“When Chris Young wants to collaborate with you, you DUET,” Lauren writes on Instagram.

The new single finds Chris and Lauren playing the roles of former lovers who discover they can’t go anywhere in their town without hearing or learning something about the other.

The song will be featured on Chris’ upcoming album. He wrote it with Cary Barlowe, Corey Crowder and Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay.

Lauren, American Idol’s Season 10 runner-up, is a busy young lady these days.

She’s currently performing a series of shows in the U.K. and is preparing for her fall “That Girl Was Me” tour.

Her upcoming shows include a Sunday, Sept. 29 appearance at the WPOC Sunday in the Country festival at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md. That event will also feature Old Dominion, Jimmie Allen, Michael Ray, Jordan Davis and Dylan Scott.
