Caitlyn Martin from The Voice Season 23

Caitlyn Martin is among the artists to announce they auditioned for Season 23 of The Voice.

The Voice returns to NBC on Monday, March 6.

Here’s more about Caitlyn.

* She describes herself as a vocalist and voice artist on Instagram.

* And on Facebook, she describes herself as an “Atlanta based Singer/Songwriter/Actress to bless and deStress your life and timeline!”

* But she’s clearly performed in lots of places. For instance, last spring she was a featured performer in “A Night with Janis Joplin,” a show at the Le Petit Theatre in New Orleans.

* Post-COVID, she returned to performing after a two-year absense playing Claudette Colvin in “I Dream” at the Carolina Opera House in Atlanta.

* She’s been involved in a number of other musical theater productions as well, including “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” last year.

* She’s also worked as a singer with East Coast Entertainment, including with the band Atlanta Rhythm and Groove in 2021.

* And her background includes singing on the Norwegian Cruise Lines back in 2017.

* But in June of last year, she announced on Facebook that she was settling in Atlanta. “After years of touring and traveling the world, I’m finally making roots in my FIRST PLACE!!! Most of my peers reached this milestone a decade ago, but my life has been it’s own incredible, unexpected adventure and I wouldn’t trade my journey for anything!’ she wrote.

* You can check out plenty of recent covers from Caitlyn on her TikTok, including her version of Billie Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes,” which I’ve embedded below.
