Here’s more about Katie.
* She’s a Chicago-based singer-songwriter who has already released music.
* That includes a three-track EP, “Katie Kaden Loves Me” from 2017 and her 10-track debut album, “Katie Kaden,” which came out at the end of May.
* “Fire in Me,” “Take Me to the River” and “My Man” from the album are especially impressive. Check out the former below.
* She’s also part of a band called Doomerang that released a five-track rock EP, “Catch and Release,” in March.
* In addition to being a performer, she coaches aspiring artists at the School of Rock, according to her website.
* Her website also indicates she has held a Sunday night residency at The Underground Wonder Bar in Chicago’s River North.
* She grew up singing with her mother and sisters in church and counts Carol King, Billie Holliday and Gladys Knight among her early influences.
* On Instagram, she writes of growing confidence in herself as a performer. “I’ve doubted myself, thinking if this is the right path for me. I’ve held myself back from opportunities. I’m simply my own worst enemy. Now I look at myself in the mirror and say I’m strong, I’m smart, I’m talented and I’m as sexy as I’ve ever been. No one can tell me different anymore.”

Your voice is so unreal… The pairing of you and Charity was awesome… Charity is great and is so talented in her own right, that being said and not to take anything away from her in any way she just seemed to have to really work hard and strain herself and voice for that performance trying to keep up with you…
In my book you have cemented yourself the WINNER of season 17 no matter what happens… Not only are you the powerhouse we have been waiting years for but your God given gift allows you to truly enjoy yourself, connect with the aduance in house and at home while making it all look so easy
