Lindsay Joan is among the artists to announce that they auditioned for Season 20 of The Voice.

Here’s more about Lindsay:

* The 23-year-old identifies herself as a New York-based actress and singer on Instagram.

* Born and raised in southern California, that’s where she got her start in musical theater.

* In 2014, she won a Craig Noel Award for her performance as Natalie in Next to Normal at San Diego Musical Theatre.

* She moved to New York in 2017, according to her website bio, and took part in the national tour of the “Kinky Boots” musical through May of 2018.

* In 2019, Lindsay starred as Ellie Blake in the North Shore Music Theatre’s production of “Freaky Friday.”

* Musically, she’s worked with Rockit Gaming, writing and recording music for video games and is credited on several tracks available through Apple Music.

* Lindsay has also released a pair of solo singles — “Run” and “Change My Mind” — both of which came out last April. Check out the delicious “Change My Mind” (released as “Kill Tonight” by Rockit) below.

* In that web bio, Lindsay tells us her favorite color is periwinkle and that she has “an extreme obsession” with the TV show “Friends.”

* As for music, she writes this: “I truly believe music and art are the most wonderful things in this world, and have the ability to change and shape our ways of thinking and feeling–allowing us to constantly be bettering ourselves.”
