Ryleigh Modig is among the singers to announce that they auditioned for Season 20 of The Voice.

Here’s more about Ryleigh:

* In January 2017 at age 14, the young woman from Spencer, Mass., won local TV station WCCA’s New Voices Award.

* In the summer of 2019, So Far Sounds Worcester featured Ryleigh performing an original called “Airborne.” That video now has more than 1 million views.

* To date, Ryleigh’s only official release appears to be a December 2019 single called “Statue.” You can check it out below.

* You can check out a third Ryleigh original called “Demon” on her YouTube channel. Her only cover there is a version of Amy Winehouse’s “Valerie.”

* You’ll have to go down a ways, but there are other covers on her Instagram page, including unique versions of Stevie Nicks’ “Landslide” and Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody,” plus a couple of Billie Eilish songs.

* Ryleigh reportedly auditioned for the show with a cover of Billie’s “when the party’s over.”

Editor’s note: Season 20 of The Voice is scheduled to kick off Monday, March 1 on NBC.
