Medeleyev from The Voice Season 17

* Mendeleyev from Season 17 celebrated his one-year anniversary of appearing on The Voice by dropping an acoustic album. This fall marked his second anniversary, so he’s back with a contemporary folk album named “…” No, that’s not a typo or a spot where I forgot to fill in the blank. But the album’s definitely worth checking out, especially that tracks “Time Flies,” “I’ll Overcome” and “The Saviors Path.” Mendeleyev, who recently turned 30, calls The Voice “a Top 5 life-changing moment.”

* Caroline Reilly from Season 17 recently released a single called “Meant to Be.” “I’m so lucky that I got to work on this project with @kreativevillains (Kreative Villains)!,” Caroline writes on Instagram. “Completely brought my vision to life. This song is very near and dear to my heart.” It follows “Best of Me” as her second single of 2021.

Cáthia from The Voice Season 4

Cáthia from The Voice Season 4

* Cáthia from Season 4 has a fun new single out called “100 Millas” (100 Miles). She wrote the song with ADRIAN, who also handled production. It’s Cáthia’s first release of 2021, and she followed up by dropping an acoustic version of the song on YouTube on Wednesday.

* Elise Azkoul, also from Season 17, has dropped a cover of “La Vie en rose” by Edith Piaf. Seven versions of the song made the U.S. Billboard charts in 1950, including versions by Bing Crosby, Dean Martin and Louis Armstrong. “Guaranteed to make your day more whimsical ‘n jazzy ‘n PINK!” writes Elise. Congrats go out to her and her husband on the recent birth of their first child.
