New post-Voice music out in the past week includes singles from Johnny Gates, Colton Smith and Grant Ganzer.

Stream, stream, stream these songs folks. Like other artists, the singers we met on The Voice need support from their fans now more than ever.

* Johnny Gates from Season 12 dropped “Sucker Punch” Friday. It’s labeled demo because he says he wrote it with buddy Jake Ohlbaum and recorded it quickly during these quarantine times. “I don’t have the best resume when it comes to successful relationships, and I guess you can say I’ve got a guard up,” Johnny told YoungMusicCity.com. “With Sucker Punch, I had the hook. It was about a certain situation where, she just kind of hit me out of no where, and I was okay with it.”

* Colton Smith from Season 15 released a fun new single called “Fades Away.” He wrote the song with Ryan Hoffman, who also produced the track. Writes Colton: “I’m really proud of this one. I hope you groove and dance and sing the highest notes and it eases some of the stress of this crazy time!!”

* Grant Ganzer from Season 7 released “Samson” on Thursday, writing “I cannot wait for you to hear this new single, it’s a really special one for me.” Just 16 when he appeared on the show, Grant released his debut album, “A4,” last year. The new single finds him ready to do almost anything for his lady love.
