Owen Danoff earns first instant save of Season 10 on The Voice (photo gallery)

If ever there was a Voice results show that showed iTunes rankings aren’t a sure indicator of the outcome, Tuesday’s was it.

Emily Keener’s cover of “Lilac Wine” hit number 27 on iTunes Tuesday, third best of any song from the show the night before.

Owen Danoff cracked the Top 50 with his version of “7 Years.” Four singers from The Voice finished below him on iTunes, one by more than 100 spots.

But when Carson Daly finished announcing the advancing artists Tuesday night, Emily and Owen were standing side by side in the bottom two.

After their save-me performances — Emily performed “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain;” Owen sang “Lego House” — fans spared Owen via the show’s instant Twitter save. That means he advances to next week’s Top 11.

Here are photos from Tuesday’s show.
