In case you missed it, Rebecca Loebe has done it again.

And by that, I mean the singer-songwriter from Season 1 of The Voice has served up another superlative album.

She also released a music video for “Growing Up,” the album’s opening track, this week.

And, in the process, Rebecca explained all the white on that album cover of “Give Up Your Ghosts.”

And all the white items you’ll see in that video, during which Rebecca gives her mirror image a pep talk about letting the past in the past.

“I wanted to represent all of this history visually, so I spent weeks buying random objects at thrift stores and garage sales and then I painted them all white on a folding table in my backyard,” Rebecca told Parade, which premiered the video on Wednsday.

“This giant pile of white objects represents the history we each carry and is a reminder to treat each other with more tenderness since we have no way of knowing what anyone else has been through.”

She added that she considers “Growing Up” a “hopeful song about coming to terms with the past and moving into the future with confidence, resolve and strength.”

“Give Up Your Ghosts” was released earlier this month on Blue Corn Music, a followup to Rebecca’s excellent 2017 album, “Blink.”

The new album is loaded with great songs, but be especially sure to check out “High School Musical.” It’s guaranteed to make you smile.

Also check out all the dates on Rebecca’s “Give Up Your Ghosts” tour on her Facebook page or website. Those upcoming shows include dates in Philly and the D.C. area.
