Jamal Roberts and John Foster appear to be the clear favorites heading into Sunday’s American Idol finale.

As has been the case since the voting shows started, they scored the most popular performances during the Sunday and Monday episodes of American Idol.

John’s cover of Brooks and Dunn’s “Believe” was the most popular on Sunday’s show, with nearly 400,000 views as of midnight Friday. Jamal’s performance of “A Change is Gonna Come” was the second most popular from that show.

The most popular of Breanna Nix’s two performances that night — “Reflection” from Mulan — had about 100,000 views, less than one-third of the number for John or Jamal.

On Monday, Jamal scored the night’s two most popular performances with his covers of “Beauty an the Beast” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”

Of the 10 performances that night, John’s were the third and fourth most viewed. Breanna’s were a distant fifth and sixth.

Of course, Jamal, John and Breanna will square off for the Season 23 crown during a three-hour season finale on Sunday.

Voting will start when the show does. One singer will likely be eliminated and a top two will likely be announced sometime during the show.
