Former Voice standout Holly Tucker was named Texas CMA Female Vocalist of the Year in 2017 and 2018.

She’s up for the same honor — plus Entertainer of the Year — at the Texas CMA Awards later this month.

And the 26-year-old just released her first album in three years, “You’re Gonna Know My Name.”

It’s the fourth album from Holly and her second since finishing Top 6 on Season 4 of The Voice.

And in a recent interview with Made in Texas Radio, she said it has a special place in her heart because she has a writing credit on all seven tracks.

“Songwriting has not always been my strongest suit, but I’ve learned so much over the last five years,” says the Waco, Texas, native. “Every song on this album is a little piece of me.”

And it’s paying off.

One of the album tracks — “Country Music Won’t Let Me” — is up for top song honors at the Texas CMA awards. “Take Me Fishin’,” another single released before the full album, has racked up more than 130,000 streams on Spotify.

The album also features “Rhythm of You,” a slice of slow-dance perfection, and the catchy up-tempo title track, which closes the album.

Holly explained “You’re Gonna Know My Name” during that radio interview.

“It’s not quick and easy fame I’m after,” she said. “I’m going to work hard. I’m going to put every bit of my heart and effort into my dream.”

The album cover, Holly notes, features her standing on a stage, back to the camera. But all the, seats in the auditorium are empty.

For now. Holly’s already planning “You’re Gonna Know My Name” Part 2.

“Maybe you haven’t heard of me yet,” Holly said, “but I want to give you a reason to keep listening for the second part.”

Mission accomplished.
