Rayshun LaMarr earned his second instant save on The Voice Tuesday night.

As a result, he’ll head into next week’s Season 14 semifinals alongside Jackie Foster, Britton Buchanan, Pryor Baird, Kyla Jade, Spensha Baker, Kaleb Lee and Brynn Cartelli.

Rayshun, a member of Team Adam Levine, landed in the bottom two during the Top 12 results show, but beat out D.R. King for the instant save.

Tuesday night, he had to go up against teammate Jackie Verna and Christiana Danielle of Team Alicia Keys in a final three, with only one save available.

He got that save, by a pretty comfortable margin, judging from the graphic NBC showed on screen until the last minute of the instant save voting window.

Did he deserve that save?

Honestly, I thought it should have gone to Christiana Danielle, who delivered a powerful performance Monday night and then was virtually flawless during the high-pressure save performance Tuesday.

But it was Christiana’s second straight visit to instant save territory. She won one the week before over Sharane Calister to advance to Top 10 night.

Here are the Voice Views’ instant save grades.

Christiana Danielle (Team Alicia) — She’s singing “Unchain My Heart.” I really thought Christiana would avoid the bottom three after her strong performance last night and her strong iTunes showing. She’s doing a very nice job with this song in a pressure situation. That was very good. Grade: B+

Jackie Verna (Team Adam) — She’ll sing “I Told You So.” Jackie gets very emotional, breaking into tears at the end of her save song. That was a decent performance, but she went for a very high note and I’m not sure she hit it. Grade: B–

Rayshun LaMarr (Team Adam) — He’s singing “Let’s Get It On,” which might have been a better song choice for him last night that the song Adam had him sing. That said, this is too over the top and frill-filled for my top. Honestly, my least favorite performance of the three. Grade: C
