Emmy Russell and Abi Carter scored the most popular auditions from the second week of American Idol Season 22.

That’s based on YouTube views as both singers racked up more than 1 million in the five days since their auditions aired.

Emmy became the first artist from Season 22 to have her audition video viewed more than 2 million times in the week after she auditioned.

She’s the granddaughter of Loretta Lynn, which might account for some of those views.

But Emmy, 24, also auditioned with an excellent original called “Skinny,” a song she released in conjunction with Song House in Nashville last summer.

The song has been streamed about 150,000 times on Spotify since Emmy’s audition aired.

Abi, a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Indio, Calif., became the second recipient of a platinum ticket in Season 22. That’s an honor bestowed on just three auditioners each season.

She delivered an emotional version of Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” on last Sunday’s show. That audition had racked up more than 1.4 million views on YouTube as of Friday afternoon.

You can check out the precise numbers for each of the Hollywood bound singers below. If there’s a link attached to the name, that means I’ve posted a profile of the singer, complete with information about any music they’ve already released.

This week, the artists we’ll meet include five I’ve already profiled, Will Moseley, Nick Connors, Scarlett Lee and the brother-sister duo of Laela and Max Dasher. Again, you can learn more by following the links.

Also featured on Sunday will be: Jennifer Jeffries, Madai Chakell, Avery Gunn, Kyra, Kimi, Donahue Diaries, CJ Rislove and Aniston Pate.

Now, those promised YouTube views. Again, these are as of Friday afternoon.
