After a rather pedestrian pace to the first two episodes of Season 18, American Idol is apparently going to kick into high gear Sunday night.

Based on publicity photos released prior to the show, we’ll be introduced to at least 15 singers Sunday, including some of the most promising female members of the cast.

The show has already leaked two auditions, those of Genavieve Linkowski and Jarred Lettow.

Genavieve, who made Hollywood in Season 16, shares a touching story about losing her oldest sister Corinn — her singing partner — to a car accident a year ago.

Then she dazzles the judges with a performance of “How am I Supposed to Live Without You,” earning another trip to Hollywood.

Jared, dubbed the California Yodeler because of the song he sings, isn’t quite so lucky. But vows to keep right on yodeling.

Among the other male contestants we’ll meet Sunday night: Dillon James, Jordan Jones, Andrew Zendejas, DeWayne Crocker and Ryan Harmon.

Among the mega talented group of female singers we’ll meet: Lauren Spencer, Lauren Mascitti, Kimmy Gabriela, Erin Kirby, Amelia (Joyce), Geena (Fontanella), Shannon Gibbons, Courtney Timmons and Abi Rose Stein.
