Jourdan Blue from American Idol Season 20

American Idol returns to ABC on Sunday, Feb. 27. Here’s more about Jourdan.

* He’s a singer-songwriter born in New Orleans and currently based in Baton Rouge, La.

* He’s released one single, “Motions,” an R&B track that came out in October. You can check it out below.

* Jourdan’s old Instagram page is packed with covers. One of his favorite artists to cover appears to be Bruno Mars.

* He has about 650 followers and nearly 4,000 likes on his TikTok, and that’s where you want to head for more recent covers.

* He’s been involved in musical theater, including a 2018 performance of “Hairspray” at the Swamplight Theatre in Ponchatoula, La.

* Jourdan’s a graduate of Ponchatoula High School and studied at Southeastern Louisiana University, according to his Facebook bio.

* That bio also indicates that he worked at RISE Haunted House, ranked by USA Today as one of the nation’s Top 10 haunted attractions.
