Allegra Miles, a semifinalist on Season 18 of The Voice, will audition for American Idol in Sunday’s episode.

Former Voice standout Allegra Miles auditioned for Season 20 of American Idol, and her appearance before the superstar judges will air Sunday night.

In an astute bit of marketing, Allegra just released “Tainted,” the original song she’ll sing for her audition.

It’s a stirring piano ballad about love gone sour — as in “your name is tainted in my soul.”

While the song is about a past episode in her life, Allegra predicts others will find the song relatable to their own personal experiences.

Here’s betting the Idol judges respond positively as well.

Allegra was 17 when she auditioned for The Voice Season 18 and advanced all the way to the Top 9.

“Tainted” is hardly the first song she’s released since. She released three singles in 2021 — “Esctasy,” “Lonely” and “Lies.”

“Lies” is about Allegra’s experience as a victim of catfishing, getting involved in an online relationship with an individual who wasn’t who she pretended to be. She released a music video for that song as well.

Now 19, Allegra is planning a watch party for her Idol debut. It’ll begin Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at the Grandview Public Market in West Palm Beach, with Allegra playing originals live before the Idol episode airs at 8 p.m.
