Carly Mickeal is among the artists to announce they auditioned for Season 20 of American Idol.

Idol returns to ABC on Sunday, Feb. 27. Here’s more about Carly.

* She’s a California girl, 24, who loves the beach and graduated college in May 2020, according to her Instagram posts.

* She’s released one song to date, a pop single called “Nightmare” that landed in Nov 2020. “I’m so proud of this song,” she writes. Check it out below.

* Her latest YouTube posts are covers of Tate McRae’s “You Broke Me First” and “July” by Miley Cyrus.

* She has a really pretty vocal tone and shows it off on recent covers of “Hallelujah” and “Anyone,” posted to both TikTok and her Instagram.

* Carly has a dog named Jasper who appears frequently on her social media. “I have a blue jasper stone on my ring which signifies calm, encouragement and has healing properties. Dogs have a special way of bringing calmness and happiness, and that’s exactly what this little guy was brought into my life for,” she writes.
