Wennely Quezada from American Idol Season 20

American Idol returns to ABC on Sunday, Feb. 27. Here’s more about Wennely.

* She’s a 22-year-old bilingual artist based in Kansas City who’s already released lots of music.

* Nor is she a newcomer to singing competition or 20th seasons. She made the finals of Season 20 of EstrellaTV’s Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento, won by Manuel Reza.

* Her performances from the show are still available on YouTube, and Wennely received a standing ovation from the judges for her final performance.

* She’s originally from New York and her musical style incorporates pop, hip-hop, EDM & soul, according to her Spotify bio.

* Wennely’s debut release came in 2019, a four-song EP called “Seasons of Love” with three songs in English and one in Spanish.

* She’s since released four more singles, “Addicted,” “Every Teardrop,” “Diablita” and 2021’s “Tenga Tumbao,” which came out last May. Check out the latter below.
