Tyler Allen is among the singers to confirm that they auditioned for American Idol Season 20.

American Idol returns to ABC on Sunday, Feb. 27. Here’s more about Tyler.

* He’s a 24-year-old elder with Tyler Nicholas Allen Ministries and includes an N. in his name on his social media accounts.

* According to his web bio, he’s been in the ministry for 15 years, starting at age 9.

* Tyler has 463,000 followers and more than 7.6 million likes on his TikTok, having gone viral multiple times.

* He also has more than 25,000 followers to his YouTube channels, where he and his wife Janae do Q&A’s and where you’ll find dozens of videos of Tyler worshipping through music.

* He’s performed music across the country and in Cuba and has released one song to date, a Christian single called “The Lamb,” which dropped in September 2020. You can check it out below. It’s certainly an impassioned vocal.

* Tyler hails from Mobile, Ala., and still lives there. He’s a graduate of W P Davidson High School and has studied mass communications at the University of Mobile, according to his Facebook page.
