Cameron Wright, 34, Minneapolis, Minn., “The Way We Were” by Barbra Streisand: Cameron’s impressive range and tone prompt almost immediate chair turns from Gwen Stefani and Michael Buble. Before he’s completed the song’s second line, Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg are facing his way too. Cameron completed an excellent performance, delivering a couple of glorious glory notes. Reba called his performance wonderful. Gwen said “not one moment wasn’t perfect.” Michael said there’s a light that pours out of Cameron and predicted he’ll make the finals. Snoop vows to teach Cameron some skills to make sure that happens. Cameron opted to join Team Michael.

RUNNERS-UP

Camryn Brooks, 24, Mount Shasta, Calif., “Light On”: Camryn shows off a strong, lovely tone. Then her voice soared and Gwen Stefani turned her chair. Having failed to turn a chair on her first attempt at the show, Camryn’s clearly thrilled by that. The continued strength in her vocal got chair turns from Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg and Michael Buble as well. Snoop praised her voice, her tone and her performance. Gwen said her voice is soothing and would sound great on a record. Camryn decided to join Team Gwen.

Mark Shiiba, 29, Swarthmore, Pa., “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright” by Bob Dylan: Mark started on harmonica, then showed off a unique singing voice in the singer-songwriter vein. Gwen says he has a great character voice. Michael loves the character in his voice too. So much that he pushes the coach replay button, giving Mark a spot on the show. Michael said he knew he made a mistake by not turning because Mark’s one of the most unique singers they’ve heard this season. He’s also released some great original music.

Eliza Pryor, 17, Dallas, Texas, “Linger” by The Cranberries: Eliza sounded a wee bit nervous at the opening. But she showed off a nice tone and power. The soNG is coming to a close when Snoop Dogg pushed his button at the very last second. He said he liked the control she displayed and hopes to help her with her desire to explore singing more jazzy music.

Kay Sibal, 24, Los Angeles, Calif., “From the Start” by Laufey: Kay takes the stage with an exuberant attitude and quickly starts earning chair turns from Michael Buble, Gwen Stefani and Snoop Dogg. Snoop loved the jazziness in her performance. Gwen applauded her potential. Michael said she did a great job of making the song her own. Snoop suggests Kay pick Gwen; Reba suggests Kay pick Michael. “What’s a girl to do?” asks Kay. She winds up going with Gwen.

Mary McAvoy, 35, Boston, Mass., “Say You Love Me”: She showed off a nice, emotional tone and gets quick chair turns from Michael Buble and Snoop Dogg. She displayed really nice range too. Snoop complimented her on a wonderful voice and promised to listen as well as coach if she joins his team. Michael displays a macaroni necklace to entice Mary to join his team. Mary opted to join Team Snoop.

Lauren-Michael Sellers, 35, Birmingham, Ala., “Oceans” by Hillsong United: When the songs swells and Lauren shows off her power, chairs start turning — Gwen Stefani, Michael Buble and Reba McEntire turn in quick order. Lauren continues with an emotional performance and a last-second turn by Snoop makes her a four-chair turn recipient. Michael called her “a beautiful breath of unique fresh air.” Gwen said her performance seemed real and honest. Reba loved the way she could feel the emotion in the performance. Lauren decided to join Team Reba.

Beya, 24, Hawaii, “Our Day Will Come” by Ruby and the Romantics: Beya displayed a really nice voice and got an early chair turn from Gwen Stefani. The song’s tempo picked up and Beya continued to show nice stage presence. But none of the other coaches turned, meaning Beya automatically became Team Gwen. Gwen said she liked the smoothness and effortlessness in her performance.

Brad Sample, 38, Nashville, Tenn., “The Letter” by The Box Tops: A few guitar licks and a couple of lines of the vocal was all it took to earn a chair turn from Reba McEntire. Brad displayed a nice rasp and surprising power to go along with it, which helped entice a late chair turn from Snoop Dogg. Reba loved the song, Brad’s voice and his energy. Snoop said the performance kept growing on him and he just had to turn his chair. Brad opted to join Team Snoop.

Tsola, “On My Mama”: Reba McEntire was the only coach to turn. She told Tsola the performance touched her heart.

Deon Jones, “Little Ghetto Boy”: Reba McEntire was the only coach to turn. She said she was “totally impressed” with Deon’s performance.
