The occasion was the 26th annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game, played at Nashville’s First Tennessee Park.
City of Hope is a research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases; the event raised about $200,000 toward its mission.
And lots of singing show stars were on hand as Team iHeart Country and Team Opry slugged their way to an 18-18 tie.
Team Opry included Craig Wayne Boyd, Cassadee Pope and RaeLynn from The Voice and Nick Fradiani, Scotty McCreery and Tristan McIntosh from American Idol.
Team iHeart Country included Season 4 Voice champ Danielle Bradbery and Lauren Alaina and Bucky Covington from American Idol.
