Carrie and Kelly will perform at ACM Awards Sunday

Hey, American Idol fans: Don’t forget. Two of your favorites will be performing on TV Sunday night.

The occasion is the 48th annual ACM Awards, which begin at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Carrie Underwood will perform at the ACM Awards Sunday night. Kelly Clarkson will perform at the ACM Awards Sunday night.Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood will perform on a night designed to honor the stars of country music.

And another familiar face to singing show fans — Blake Shelton — will serve as co-host with Luke Bryan.

Carrie and Kelly are also up for awards.

Carrie is nominated as female vocalist of the year along with Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Kacey Musgraves and Taylor Swift.

Her “Blown Away” album is nominated for album of the year along with “Chief” by Eric Church, “Red” by Taylor Swift, “Tailgates and Tanlines” by Luke Bryan, and “Tornado” by Little Big Town.

Kelly’s nomination comes for vocal event of the year, her duet of “Don’t Rush” with Vince Gill.

Other nominations in that category include a performance of “Easy” by Rascal Flatts and Natasha Bedingfield, “Feel Like a Rock Star” by Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw, “Let it Rain” by David Nail and Sarah Buxton, and “The Only Way I Know” by Jason Aldean with Luke Bryan and Eric Church.
