Carrie Underwood, Casey James, Lauren Alaina up for American Country Awards

Three American Idol alumni will be up for honors when the American Country Awards airs Monday night on FOX (8 p.m.).

That list, of course, includes Carrie Underwood.

But other nominees include Lauren Alaina, runner-up on Idol Season 10, and Casey James, who finished third on Idol Season 9.

Casey is nominated for male new artist video of the year for “Crying on a Suitcase” along with Hunter Hayes for “Wanted,” Jana Kramer for “Why You Wanna,” Dustin Lynch for, “Cowboys and Angels,” and Kip Moore for “Somethin’ ’Bout A Truck.”

Lauren is nominated for new artist of the year along with Hunter Hayes, Jana Kramer, Kip Moore, and Miranda Lambert’s group, Pistol Annie.

As for Carrie, she has three solo nominations, including:

Female artist of the year, along with Sara Evans, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and Taylor Swift;

Female single of the year for “Good Girl,” along with Sara Evans, “My Heart Can’t Tell You No;” Miranda Lambert, “Over You;” Martina McBride, “I’m Gonna Love You Through It;” and Taylor Swift, “Ours”

Female video of the year for “Good Girl,” along with the very same four songs nominated in the category above.

Carrie also shares one nomination with Brad Paisley in the single of the year vocal collaboration category for their duet, “Remind Me.”

Trace Adkins and Kristen Chenoweth are hosts of the American Country Awards, and Lauren Alaina, Casey James and Scotty McCreery are among the artists who are supposed to appear (but not necessarily perform) during the show.
