Noah Mac needed a save to make it to the knockout round on The Voice.

But he made the most of that opportunity, advancing to the playoffs on Team Jennifer Hudson after winning his showdown with Jeremiah Miller.

He also scored the most popular song on iTunes from the second night of the knockout round.

As of noon, his cover of “Hold Back the River” was number 53 on the iTunes Top 200 singles chart.

It was one of only four cover songs from Monday’s show to crack the Top 200, though all the songs available are in the Top 200 on a genre chart.

Noah was also sitting at number five on the alternative songs chart.

Here’s where all the songs were ranked as of noon, which is when voting ends following a live episode of The Voice.

Keep in mind that it’s impossible to compare a performance on one genre chart to another. The country and pop charts are typically the most difficult single charts to scale.
