When Phillip Phillips played the Pullo Center in November, the show was a sellout.

Well, Phillip will be returning to the area this summer, though folks will have to travel a little farther to see him perform.

The Season 11 American Idol winner recently announced a co-headlining tour with the rock band O.A.R.

The series of 24 shows kick off June 12 in St. Louis and includes stops in Philly and Columbia, Md.

Phillip will be in Philly on Friday, July 18, playing Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing. Tickets are $53, and you can head here to order.

The next night, he’ll perform at Maryland’s Merriweather Post Pavilion. Tickets are $36 and $46, and you can head here for more information.

Of course, we’re also just a month away from the release of Phillip’s second album, “Behind the Light,” due out May 19. That’s the album cover in the upper right.

And if you haven’t seen the video to Phillip’s new single, “Raging Fire,” here it is. It was released last week.

The song is up to number 12 this week on Billboard’s adult pop song chart.
