Ricky Manning earns a well-deserved save on The Voice

Ricky Manning turned in one of the most celebrated performances of Season 7 on The Voice Tuesday night.

But he still needed a steal to advance to the live rounds.

The 19-year-old from Cape Coral, Fla., performed Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball.” How well did it go?

Adam Levine called it “ridiculously incredible.” Gwen Stefani called it “amazing.”

But in one of the most baffling coach’s decision of the season, Pharrell Williams declared Elyjuh Rene, 18, of Long Beach, Calif., the winner.

Elyjuh had delivered a fine, but far less impressive performance of “With You” by Chris Brown.

The result: Elyjuh advances to the live rounds with Team Pharrell. Ricky is now a member of Team Gwen.

Her reaction: “I think I just won The Voice.”
