Ryan Seacrest, The Voice land Emmy nominations

“American Horror Story,” “House of Cards” and “Game of Thrones” are stealing the Emmy nomination glory this morning.

But your favorite reality singing competitions didn’t go unnoticed.

For the second year, The Voice has been nominated in the Outstanding Reality Competition category.

And Ryan Seacrest has been nominated for the sixth straight year as best host of a reality show.

Ryan has yet to win; the honor went to Tom Bergeron of “Dancing With the Stars” last year.

Other nominees for 2013 include Bergeron, Betty White for “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers,” Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn for “Project Runway,” Cat Deeley for “So You Think You Can Dance” and Anthony Bourdain for “The Taste.”

American Idol got an Emmy snub — probably well earned — for the second straight year in the Outstanding Reality Competition nominees.

Idol had been nominated for nine straight years between 2003 and 2011, with “The Amazing Race” taking the Emmy in nearly every one of those years.

“The Amazing Race” was back in the winner’s circle last year when The Voice was nominated and Idol wasn’t.

And, of course, “The Amazing Race” is nominated again this year, alongside “The Voice.”

The category’s other nominees include “Dancing With The Stars,” “Project Runway,” “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Top Chef.”
