It’s official. Cassadee Pope’s debut album is number one on Billboard’s country charts.

Whether it stays there more than one week will depend on the popularity of new releases from Chase Rice and Scotty McCreery.

As of 11:30 a.m. Thursday morning, Cassadee’s “Frame by Frame” was sitting at number four on the iTunes country album download chart, behind those two releases and Luke Bryan’s “Crash My Party.”

Meaning, “Frame by Frame,” not surprisingly, has lost a little steam in week two.

Billboard places Cassadee’s first-week sales at 43,000, leaving her at number nine on the Billboard 200 overall album chart.

Finishing ahead of her were new releases from Miley Cyrus, Panic! At the Disco, Pusha T, a Glee soundtrack and Korn.

Miley sold 270,000 copies of her new “Bangerz” album, pretty much giving her the last and longest laugh over all the twerking nonsense. Then there’s a big dropoff to Panic! At the Disco’s 84,000 in sales, good for number two on the chart.

Cassadee’s album is already the most successful from a former Voice contestant. Season 1 winner Javier Colon’s debut album checked in at 134 on the Billboard 200; Jermaine Paul has yet to release a post-show album. Season 4 winner Danielle Bradbery’s album is expected early next month.

Cassadee’s first single has benefited from the release of her debut album.

“Wasting All These Tears” hit a new peak of number 24 this week on the country airplay chart and zoomed from number 17 to number 10 on the hot country singles chart.
