After The Voice

Hannah Kirby delivers an aptly titled debut album, ‘Fire in My Soul’

Kirby released an impressive debut single called “Power” last summer.

Now she’s back with an equally impressive debut album, “Fire in My Soul.”

Aptly titled, too, since Hannah’s trademarks on Season 8 of The Voice were impassioned vocals and fiery performances.

But the new album isn’t all fire. Hannah also serves up a lovely ballad called “Stay With Me” and a beautiful surprise ending to her first album.

As for the fire, standout tracks besides “Power” include “Mercy,” “Light” and “Slow Days, Long Nights,” which you can listen to in the embedded video.

Hannah wrote all 10 songs on the album and said previously that she was already in the process of working on an album when she auditioned for The Voice at age 20.

The young woman from Sulphur Springs, Texas, landed the very final spot on the show in Season 8 and advanced all the way to the Top 8.

You can keep up with Hannah through her Facebook page and website. On Twitter, she is @IamHannahKirby.
