So which Team Pharrell song turned out to be the most popular on iTunes?

A simple, yet lovely rearrangement of Fleetwood Mac’s “Songbird” by teen singer-songwriter Madi Davis.

As of midnight EST, Madi’s version of the song was sitting at number 32 on the iTunes’ Top 200.

By 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, it had climbed to 22. And it was still there when voting ended at noon.

And that was far and away the best performance by anyone on Team Pharrell.

Comeback artist Celeste Betton was also making a solid showing on the charts, improving her chance of making the finals even though she was eliminated in the show’s battle round.

Six singers performed for Team Pharrell during Tuesday’s live playoffs.

Two will advance to the finals based on fan voting and iTunes downloads.

Then Pharrell will select one of the remaining four artists to advance.

Mark Hood, “What Do You Mean?” — number 95 on the iTunes’ Top 200 chart and number 3 on the R7B/soul chart

Darius Scott, “Love Lockdown” — number 99 on the iTunes’ Top 200 chart and number 4 on the R&B/soul chart

Riley Biederer, “Should’ve Been Us” — number 115 on the iTunes’ Top 200 chart and number 49 on the pop chart
