Who has the strongest team on The Voice Season 11?

Well, if you’re talking in terms of chair turns, the answer is easy: Team Alicia Keys.

Six acts turned four chairs during the blind auditions; three — Dave Moisan, We McDonald and the duo of Whitney and Shannon — wound up on Team Alicia.

Just seven singers turned three chairs during the Season 11 blinds. Again, three — Josh Halverson, Lauren Diaz and Christian Cuevas — landed on Team Alicia.

In terms of total chair turns, Team Alicia racked up 31 in the blind auditions; the 12 contestants on four-time Voice champ Blake Shelton’s team totaled 20 chair turns.

Of course, it’s at this point in the season when I usually warn viewers not to put too much stock in blind audition chair turns.

While it’s true that the last three winners all turned four chairs, two past winners (Jermaine Paul and Craig Wayne Boyd) turned just two in their bind auditions. And Adam Wakefield came very close to winning last year after turning just two chairs in his blind audition.
