RaeLynn will release her Wildhorse album Dec. 2Now that she’s with a new label, RaeLynn certainly isn’t wasting any time.

On Friday she announced that her debut album, WildHorse, will be released Dec. 2.

It’s available for pre-order now on iTunes, and anyone doing so will get the lead single “Love Triangle” as an automatic download.

You’ll also get the album’s title track, which RaeLynn also released Friday. It’s a song about a free-spirited gal who isn’t about to be some guy’s “pretty lucky charm” or “trophy on your shelf.”

Here’s how RaeLynn describes the album on Facebook:

“There’s so much vulnerability and heart pouring out of every song on this record. Every lyric takes you through a part of my journey these last four years.

“This record is my college experience in a lot of ways. I graduated from high school, moved away from my parents, and started a life on my own. I fell in love, had my heart broken and then found love again. I married the man of my dreams and now we’re starting a life together.

“All the highs and lows from these last four years are here. I’ve always wanted to put out an album where my personality and songwriting could really shine through. WildHorse is my journey and I sure hope you find some of your journey in it, too.”

RaeLynn scored a Top 10 country hit back in 2014 with Big Machine Records and released a five-track EP called “Me” early last year.

The new 12-track album comes courtesy of Warner Nashville, also home of Blake Shelton, who was RaeLynn’s coach on The Voice back in Season 2.

RaeLynn signed with the label earlier this summer. Another reason to be excited about the planned album: Country songwriter supreme Nicolle Galyon (just check out some of the best songs from Miranda Lambert’s “Platinum” album) is serving as co-producer. Nicolle was also a contestant on Season 2 of The Voice.

RaeLynn’s currently opening for Blake on his nationwide tour. You can check out tour dates on her Facebook page or website.

If you haven’t heard Wildhorse yet, here’s the song.
