Only Johnny Gates advanced, but he and Sammie Zonana scored the most successful song on iTunes from Tuesday’s battle round on The Voice.

Their cover of “I Drove All Night” cracked the Top 200 on iTunes overall singles chart, the only song from Tuesday’s show to do so.

At noon, when voting would typically end following a live show on The Voice, Johnny and Sammie were sitting at 193 on that chart.

More impressively, they were number three on the iTunes rock singles chart.

Gwen Stefani opted to advance Johnny to the knockout round from their battle matchup. Because she wasn’t stolen, Sammie was eliminated.

Here’s where all the songs from Tuesday’s show were sitting on iTunes genre charts as of noon. Not surprisingly, the three songs that failed to chart were the three performances viewers didn’t see because they were montaged.
