Lily Elise delivers new track from her upcoming EP

Lily EliseLily Elise has released the second track from her upcoming EP “Taken,” to be released early next year.

This song is called “Suitcases” and it’s now available on iTunes.

Last month, Lily released the first song (“Generator”) from the EP and an accompanying video. You can check those out here.

At the time, she told Voice Views the EP is about a past relationship, and that “Generator” falls in the middle of the EP, when she realizes she’s drawn to someone she should not be involved with.

On her website, she says “Suitcases” marks the beginning of that relationship.

The song “is about falling for someone who is emotionally unavailable. It has a light, fun feel to it because it was the start of something exciting, but at the same time, he was always holding back.”

She wrote the song with Soaky Siren & Mighty Mike.

Lily was a Season 1 standout on The Voice, performing for Team Christina and making the Top 16.

Here’s “Suitcases.”
