New post-Voice music released recently include singles from three singers we met on recent seasons of the show — Brooke Stephenson, Trey Rose and Levi Watkins.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases. The links take you to the songs on Apple Music, where available. And, as always, you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

Brooke Stephenson from Season 17 released a lovely ballad called “Casanova” on Friday. “This song is super personal to me,” she writes on social media. “I wrote it in the eyes of my grandmother. She was a tough lady and went through a lot, particularly in love.” “Casanova” follows “That Kind of Love” and “Backbone” in a series of strong singles from Brooke.

Trey Rose from Season 16 recently released the pop single “Damn,” a song co-written by Voice colleague Rizzi Myers and producer DJ KO. “We didn’t write ‘Damn’ with the intent to be deep or artsy; we wanted to write a song that wasn’t necessarily thought-provoking, but more straight to the point. The track has a cool vibe that translates the chemistry and the sentiment; it’s just a fun, blunt ‘I wanna take you home and lay you down’ song.”

Levi Watkins from Season 18 recently released his debut single, “Lucky Boy.” Levi, just 14 when he auditioned, was the youngest member of The Voice cast this spring, making it to the knockout round as a member of Team Blake. He’s posted another song he plans to release, “In the Rain,” on his Instagram page.
