Victoria Johnson of American Idol Season 22

Victoria Johnson is among the artists who earned a golden ticket on American Idol season 22.

Idol returns to ABC on Sunday, Feb. 18 with the coaching trio of Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan back intact.

Here’s more about Victoria.

* She’s a young singer who has performed in New York, Los Angeles and Florida and doesn’t shy away from large crowds.

* In 2019, she sang the national anthem at the Jacksonville Jaguars first home game of the season, a pre-season game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

* This season, she was back, singing the anthem at the Jags’ New Year’s Eve game against the Carolina Panthers.

* She’s also performed the anthem and “God Bless America” for the Miami Marlins, so I’m guessing she’s Florida-based.

* Victoria’s web bio says she’s been performing since she was 7 and also trained as a dancer.

* She’s also been actively involved in musical theater, performing in a production of Annie that featured Sally Struthers and even tackling the starring role of Alladin in “Alladin.”

* In 2019 and 2020, she released a quartet of pop singles, including “Tomorrow Can Wait,” “Somebody,” “Keep Going” and “Seamless.”

* To check out more current vocals from Victoria, visit her Instagram or TikTok, both of which are loaded with covers.

* Victoria has more than 4,000 followers and more than 20,000 likes on that TikTok.

* She has also trained as a songwriter and has posted one original lately, “Dear High School” from December. You can check it out below.
